MALTA Visa Requirements

You can apply for your visa now. Please note that you must prepare and upload the required documents through the website.

Required Documents

○ Original Passport Copy: The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of travel.

○ Personal Photos: Two recent color photos (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken within the last 30 days, not used for any other visa application, with a white background, zoomed in at 90%, and without contact lenses or glasses.

  • For Men: The head must be uncovered.

  • For Women: If wearing a headscarf, it must cover the hairline, and the face must be fully visible.

  • For Children under 12 years of age: Hair must be pulled back completely from the forehead, and no head or neck accessories are allowed.

○ Employer Letter (Stating Salary and Job Title): The original copy, in English, must be issued within the last 30 days at the time of your visa application at the embassy.

  • If employed by the public sector: It must be stamped with a colored seal from the government entity.

  • If employed by the private sector: It must be certified by the Chamber of Commerce.

  • If the applicant is a company owner: An updated Commercial Registration (CR) for the company, in English, is required.

○ Bank Statement:

  • For Saudi Citizens: A recent bank statement for the last 3 months, in English and stamped by the bank, showing a minimum balance of SAR 15,000 per applicant.

  • For Non-Saudi Residents: A recent bank statement for the last 6 months, in English and stamped by the bank, showing a minimum balance of SAR 20,000 per applicant.

○ Confirmed Round-Trip Flight Reservations

○ Confirmed Hotel Reservations: Covering the entire duration of the stay.

○ Employment Contract: From the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (Qiwa) for Non-Saudi Residents, in English.

○ Exit and Re-Entry Visa: For Non-Saudi Residents.

○ Residence Report from Absher: In English for Non-Saudi Residents.

Fingerprint Requirements for Visa

○ Fingerprints are required for adults aged 12 and above.

○ No fingerprinting is required for children under 12 years of age.

○ If fingerprints were previously provided within the past 59 months, the applicant may be exempt from re-providing fingerprints. However, this is not recommended, as failure to register fingerprints at the embassy for any reason will necessitate resubmitting an appointment and submitting new forms, incurring additional fees.

Additional Information

○ Expected Visa Processing Time: Approximately 15 business days from the date of the fingerprinting appointment.

○ Translation: Translation includes the national ID card and family card.

Medical Insurance

○ The German Embassy requires travel medical insurance.

○ The insurance must cover COVID-19 and repatriation fees in accordance with Schengen requirements.

○ All personal data and attachments are secure and protected.
