Portugal Visa Requirements
You can apply for your visa now. Please note that you must prepare and upload the required documents through the website.
Required Documents
○ Original Passport Copy: The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of travel.
○ Personal Photos: Two recent color photos (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken within the last 30 days, not used for any other visa application, with a white background, and no facial enhancements, including contact lenses or glasses.
* For Men: The head must be uncovered.
* For Women: If wearing a headscarf, it must cover the hairline, ensuring the face is fully visible.
* For Children under 12 years of age: Hair must be pulled back completely, and no head or neck accessories are allowed.
○ Salary Certificate: The original (in English) must be recent, issued within the last 30 days at the time of your visa application at the embassy.
* If employed by the public sector: It must be stamped with a colored seal from your government employer.
* If employed by the private sector: It must be certified by the Chamber of Commerce.
○ Bank Statement:
* For Saudi Citizens: A recent bank statement for the last 3 months, in English and stamped by the bank, showing a minimum balance of SAR 15,000 per applicant.
* For Non-Saudi Residents: A recent bank statement for the last 6 months, in English and stamped by the bank, showing a minimum balance of SAR 15,000 per applicant.
○ Confirmed round-trip flight reservations.
○ Confirmed hotel reservations covering the entire duration.
○ Employment contract from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (Qiwa) for non-Saudi residents, in English.
○ Exit and re-entry permit for non-Saudi residents.
○ Resident report from Absher, in English for non-Saudi residents.
Fingerprint Requirements for Visa
○ Fingerprints are required for adults aged 12 and above.
○ Children under 12 years of age are exempt from fingerprinting.
○ If fingerprints were previously provided within the past 59 months, the applicant may be exempt from re-fingerprinting. However, this is not recommended, as failure to register fingerprints at the embassy for any reason will require resubmitting an appointment and submitting new forms, incurring additional fees.
Additional Information
○ Expected Visa Issuance Time: Approximately 15 days from the date of application.
○ Translation Services: Translation includes national ID card, family card, and residency permit copy for residents. Additional fees apply.
Medical Insurance
○ Insurance Coverage: Al-Sarh Travel & Tourism provides insurance covering 30 days from the start of the trip, which is a basic requirement for Schengen visa issuance.
○ Coverage: The insurance includes COVID-19 coverage and repatriation fees, in accordance with Schengen requirements.
○ Extension: Extending the insurance period is subject to additional fees.
