France Visa Requirements
You can apply for your visa now. Please ensure that all required documents are prepared 2 to 3 days before your biometrics appointment.
Required Documents
1. Original Passport Copy
- The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
2. Passport Photos
Two (2) recent color photos, 4.5 × 3.5 cm, taken within the last 30 days, meeting the following requirements:
- Photos must not have been used for any previous visa application.
- White background.
- No facial enhancements or alterations.
- No contact lenses or glasses.
Photo Requirements:
- Men: The head must be uncovered.
- Women: If wearing a headscarf, it must cover the hairline while the face remains fully visible.
- Children under 12 years: Hair must be pulled back completely. No head or neck accessories are allowed.
3. Salary Certificate
The original salary certificate must be in English and issued within the last 30 days at the time of visa application.
- Public Sector Employees: The certificate must bear a colored official stamp/seal from the government employer.
- Private Sector Employees: The certificate must be issued on official company letterhead, stamped by the employer, and certified by the Chamber of Commerce.
4. Bank Statement
Saudi Citizens:
- Bank statement covering the last 3 months.
- For applications submitted in Jeddah, the last 4 months may be required.
- Must be in English and stamped by the bank.
- Minimum balance: SAR 15,000 per applicant.
Saudi Residents/Non Saudi Applicants:
- Bank statement covering the last 6 months.
- Must be in English and stamped by the bank.
- Minimum balance: SAR 15,000 per applicant.
5. Fingerprints / Biometric Requirements
- Fingerprints are required for applicants aged 12 years and above.
- Children under 12 years of age are exempt from fingerprinting.
- If fingerprints were provided within the last 59 months, the applicant may be exempt from providing them again.
Important: Re-providing fingerprints is recommended whenever possible. If fingerprints cannot be retrieved or registered at the embassy for any reason, a new appointment and new application forms may be required, which may result in additional fees.
6. Translation
Translation services include:
- National ID
- Family Card
- Iqama
Medical Insurance
Al-Sarh Travel & Tourism provides medical travel insurance covering 30 days from the start of the trip, as required for Schengen visa applications.
The insurance includes:
- COVID-19 coverage
- Repatriation expenses
- Coverage in accordance with Schengen visa requirements
Note: Extending the insurance coverage period is subject to additional fees.
Additional Information
Expected Visa Processing Time: Approximately 15 working days from the fingerprinting date.
